Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Principal Network Development Engineer (IC5) to lead backend NIC qualification and New Product Introduction (NPI) for next-generation networking platforms supporting GPU- and accelerator-based clusters. This role is critical to enabling OCI’s AI superclusters by ensuring NIC technologies meet stringent requirements for RDMA performance, cluster scale, and workload isolation.

As an IC5, you will operate as a technical leader owning complex, ambiguous problem spaces end-to-end. You will drive cross-organizational initiatives spanning hardware vendors, OCI compute and networking, and data center operations, while influencing architecture and long-term roadmap decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of experience in networking, systems engineering, or hardware validation in large-scale distributed environments
  • Deep expertise in NIC architecture and advanced features (RDMA/RoCE, congestion control, SR-IOV, queueing, offloads)
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems networking for AI/ML workloads (e.g., collective communication patterns, east-west traffic scaling)
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux networking stack and kernel-level debugging
  • Proven experience leading hardware qualification and/or NPI efforts in data center or cloud environments
  • Strong debugging skills across hardware, firmware, driver, and system layers
  • Proficiency in automation and tooling (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience with performance benchmarking and traffic analysis in high-scale environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/HPC networking (e.g., RoCEv2, InfiniBand concepts, GPU cluster networking)
  • Familiarity with distributed training frameworks (e.g., NCCL) and their network behavior
  • Knowledge of PCIe, NUMA, and GPU/accelerator interconnect considerations
  • Experience in hyperscale cloud environments
  • Exposure to SmartNICs, DPUs, or offload-driven architectures
  • Experience building validation pipelines integrated with CI/CD systems
  • Background in large-scale cluster bring-up and production operations

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end qualification strategy and execution for backend NICs supporting OCI AI clusters (RDMA/RoCE-based fabrics)
  • Lead NIC NPI for AI infrastructure, from early silicon bring-up through fleet-wide deployment across OCI regions
  • Define validation methodologies for high-performance, low-latency distributed training workloads (e.g., GPU collectives, east-west traffic patterns)
  • Drive deep performance characterization and tuning of NICs in AI cluster environments (latency, throughput, tail latency, congestion behavior)
  • Partner with NIC and silicon vendors (e.g., NVIDIA/Mellanox, Broadcom, Intel) to resolve complex hardware/firmware issues and influence feature design
  • Collaborate with OCI AI/ML platform, cluster networking, and host software teams to ensure optimal integration with drivers, kernel, and user-space stacks
  • Build and scale automated validation frameworks for continuous qualification across rapidly evolving AI hardware generations
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for systemic issues impacting cluster performance or reliability, driving fixes across stack layers
  • Establish qualification gates, acceptance criteria, and release readiness processes aligned with OCI production standards
  • Use production telemetry and workload insights to inform validation strategy and proactively identify risk areas
  • Influence NIC and system architecture to meet the demands of next-generation AI workloads

Senior Support Engineer I– Oracle Exadata Cloud Services

Shift: US Hours – 9 A.M to 6 PM PST, w/ flexibility to cover nights/weekends as required

About the Role

As a Senior Support Engineer 1 in Oracle’s Support organization, you’ll be at the forefront of solving some of our most complex customer challenges using Automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Your role will be to participate in the development and application of automated tools, diagnostics, and instrumentation to identify and resolve issues faster.  This includes scripting of tools to parse logfiles to narrow down the source of problems, and match to known issues.  It also involves training large language models (LLMs) to quickly and interactively resolve customer issues through interpretation of customer questions and issues, and mining Oracle’s documentation, knowledge base and other trusted information sources to identify answers and solutions.  Strong Collaboration with partner teams in our Development and Operations teams is also required.

This must be done in the context of working directly with customers to solve their issues.  Acting as both a trusted advisor and technical expert, you’ll ensure our customers receive world-class post-sales support, while also serving as a strong advocate for their needs. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll be called upon to troubleshoot, innovate, and guide customers through critical issues—helping them achieve success on some of Oracle’s most powerful technologies.  When known solutions are identified, you will be tasked to ensure these known issues can be matched to future customer problems through the use of AI training and other scripting and automation tools.  When new solutions are found, you will be expected to participate in a post-mortem to document these solutions in a way that will facilitate rediscovery via AI and Automation.

What You’ll Do

  • Balance proactive problem avoidance, automation and knowledge creation with reactive troubleshooting to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, both technical and non-technical, providing expert troubleshooting, problem resolution, and strategic advice.
  • Deliver deep technical expertise on Oracle Exadata Cloud Services (ExaCC / ExaCS) implementations and administration.
  • Collaborate with customers through remote and on-site engagements, providing guidance that improves performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Partner with internal teams, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to Oracle’s growing knowledge base to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Document solutions, identify and implement automation opportunities and train AI Models to find solutions faster

What You Bring

  • Passion and knowledge to prevent issues and reduce issue resolution times through documentation, automation and AI model training.
  • 7+ years with Oracle Core products or 8+ years with Applications products.
  • Hands-on experience with Exadata implementations and large-scale database management systems, including setup, configuration and patching of systems.
  • Familiarity with OEDA deployment tools,
  • Expert-level, hands-on leadership of Exadata implementations and large database management systems.
  • Deep experience operating large-scale Oracle database environments (multi-terabyte/petabyte), including performance engineering, automation, observability, backup/recovery, and zero-downtime upgrades.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other hyperscalers in the cloud,
  • This should include Cloud Tooling and agent knowledge,
  • Understanding of the Cloud architecture and roles/responsibilities for co-managed services.
  • Familiarity with various migration strategies for moving to the cloud – i.e ZDM (Zero Downtime Migration), Oracle GoldenGate, DataGuard, or IMPDP
  • Expert level knowledge of ASM and RAC architectures, clustering technologies, and Oracle database features
  • In-Depth knowledge of Clustering Technologies (Oracle Clusterware/Grid Infrastructure)
  • Experience with end-to-end Database Performance tuning, patching and maintenance and backup and recovery strategies
  • Proficiency in Unix, Linux, and/or Windows operating systems.
  • Programming and troubleshooting skills in C, C++, Java, Python, Apex etc. (additional scripting/automation experience is a plus).
  • Hardware debugging and Oracle diagnostic tool expertise, including tools such as Autonomous Health Framework and DBaasDiag.
  • Ability to think proactively, and apply new processes as they become available, or to come up with new processes where appropriate.
  • Ability to conduct post-mortems on new problems and use evidence from new problems to create rediscovery methods to speed up and automate future problem resolution.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional/technical experience).

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience

In this role, you will:

  • Drive OEM Go to Market Partner Strategy: Build the foundational playbook for how Samsara effectively partners to go to market with OEMs.
  • Influence Strategic Relationships: Develop and influence top-down relationships with executive leadership at key partners to align objectives.
  • Orchestrate Ecosystem Activation: Partner across Samsara to develop a mutual Samsara/OEM value prop and design GTM motions that motivate our teams to sell together.
  • Build Scalable Programs: Develop the program that allows Samsara to partner with OEMs in a coordinated, repeatable fashion.
  • Build & Scale a Team: Build and manage a high-performing team of Partner Account Managers focused specifically on OEM growth and activation

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, consulting or sales, with experience building new partner motions and high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in co-sell motion: Experience architecting mutual value props and driving multi-layered "sell-with" and “sell-through” partnership motions that deliver consistent pipeline.
  • Complex Deal Orchestration: Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder deals across several companies.
  • Builder Mentality: Proven ability to create structure, process, and commercial models where none exist.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to align cross-functional teams toward a common channel goal.

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Analyst to join our Authorization Services Design and Configuration team.

About the role:

You will be the architect of our medical management operations. In this role, you will design, configure, and optimize the workflows and business rules within our Utilization Management (UM) system to ensure seamless authorization processing. You will translate complex business requirements into automated logic, handle internal escalations to identify root causes and remediation pathways, and act as a subject matter expert to educate cross-functional partners on how our systems drive care decisions.

This is a technical and operational role that requires a systems thinker with a collaborative mindset who enjoys solving complex, systems level problems.

You will report into the Associate Director of Authorization Services.

Work Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Atlanta, Georgia. You will be fully remote; however, our approach to work may adapt over time. Future models could potentially involve a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area. #LI-Remote

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $67,813 - $89,004 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the configuration and maintenance of authorization workflows, rulesets, and automations within the UM platform.
  • Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications, ensuring that business rules and logic are accurately represented, tested, and implemented.
  • Investigate and resolve cross-functional escalations by performing root cause analysis on system behavior and configuration gaps.
  • Proactively identify "friction points" in the authorization process and document formal opportunities for workflow improvement and automation.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the UM system, educating internal teams (Product, Clinical, Regulatory) on how configuration impacts operations and supports business needs.
  • Develop testing protocols and execute test scenarios to validate expected system behavior and configuration accuracy. Lead corrective activities when system behavior deviates from expectations.
  • Manage assigned caseloads and project tasks through effective dashboard management and prioritization.
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of all business rules, technical specs, and workflow designs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in system configuration, business rules management, or technical workflow design.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical/operational role involving root-cause analysis and data troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (vlookups, pivot tables, and data manipulation).
  • Proven ability to assess and comprehend end-to-end process impacts in complex technical environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical system logic to non-technical stakeholders.
  • 1+ year working knowledge of within the healthcare industry (payer or provider).

Bonus points:

  • Prior work experience in Prior Authorizations or Insurance Operations.

  • Identify key market segments and potential customers to prioritize sales efforts effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation.
  • Proactively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, referrals, and cold outreach.
  • Position our cloud-based offerings as solutions that address specific pain points and challenges faced by all types of buyers.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of potential clients.

Education and/or Experience
