Job Description

Role OverviewAs a Special Project Manager, Data Center Facilities Remediation Projects, you will lead the execution of complex remediation, upgrade, and retrofit projects across OCI’s mission-critical data center portfolio. This role is responsible for managing project teams and driving projects from concept through commissioning and operational handoff, with accountability for budget, schedule, design coordination, permitting, construction oversight, safety, and stakeholder alignment.

This role is suited for a manager who can lead high-impact construction and remediation work in live or partially live critical environments while developing project talent and ensuring consistent execution across multiple workstreams. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned remediation, retrofit, and special facilities projects from concept through design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Manage project setup, including budget development, schedule creation, scope alignment, execution planning, and oversight through completion.
  • Lead all phases of project delivery including pre-construction, design development, permitting and entitlements, competitive bid processes, contractor selection, construction oversight, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Manage project managers, coordinators, external project resources, or assigned delivery personnel supporting remediation and retrofit execution.
  • Act as the primary leader coordinating internal stakeholders across Facilities Operations, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Procurement, Finance, Security, and site leadership.
  • Translate requirements from internal subject matter experts and operations teams into executable project scopes that preserve long-term operational sustainability.
  • Lead design coordination across internal teams, design-build partners, consultants, and contractors to ensure technical and operational requirements are incorporated into the project.
  • Oversee physical construction activities on site, including quality, safety, contractor performance, sequencing, and adherence to site work rules.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risk, staffing, and partner performance while ensuring work is delivered in alignment with Oracle standards and campus operating constraints.
  • Coordinate OFCI equipment planning, logistics, and integration into project delivery.
  • Lead commissioning and turnover activities for critical systems integration across existing data center environments and remediation scopes.
  • Ensure complete and accurate turnover documentation is delivered to Operations, including closeout records, drawings, commissioning results, and other required project artifacts.
  • Partner closely with site operations teams to coordinate remediation work with ongoing maintenance, operations, and customer-impact considerations in live facilities.
  • Drive day-to-day project decisions to conclusion, escalating risk, business-impact, or resource concerns when appropriate.
  • Own project resource allocation, workflow prioritization, and team utilization across assigned remediation programs.
  • Support financial governance through forecasting, variance reporting, contractor billing review, approval packages, and coordination with finance partners.
  • Lead lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen future remediation and retrofit execution across the portfolio.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of project delivery staff aligned to the remediation program.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, construction management, remediation, retrofit delivery, or technical infrastructure programs.
  • 2+ years of experience leading project teams, project engineers, coordinators, or third-party project resources.
  • Strong experience in complex and technical construction environments, ideally including mission-critical, industrial, utility, healthcare, semiconductor, or data center facilities.
  • Experience delivering projects in live operational environments where safety, continuity, and coordination with ongoing operations are critical.
  • Strong understanding of both CSA and MEP scopes, with the ability to coordinate technical and operational stakeholders through construction and turnover.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar field preferred; equivalent experience also valued.

  • Familiarity with commissioning, turnover, operational handoff, and project closeout requirements in mission-critical environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • PMP, CCM, PE, or similar construction/project management credentials are a plus.
  • Experience with contractor qualification, bid management, permitting coordination, project forecasting, and team resource planning is strongly preferred.

  • Coach and develop technicians and frontline leads to strengthen troubleshooting capability, technical depth, and execution consistency.
  • Support the Site Operations Director with status reporting, risk visibility, staffing readiness, and operational improvement initiatives for the mechanical plant.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in mechanical plant operations, HVAC service, critical cooling maintenance, or related uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, semiconductor, or large commercial facilities.
  • 2–4+ years of experience leading technicians, maintenance teams, or service providers in a live operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, and related controls platforms.
  • Experience managing vendors, maintenance programs, incident response, and service execution in 24x7 operations.
  • Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, DCIM, and CMMS tools.

As Senior Facilities Service Manager – Mechanical, you will lead the onsite mechanical service and maintenance team responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems supporting hyperscale data center operations.   • Serve as the direct manager for Mechanical Facilities Technicians, providing day-to-day leadership, work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and development.
  • Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program for mechanical systems, including planning, training, execution standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee maintenance and service execution for large-scale mechanical and cooling infrastructure, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and associated controls interfaces.

  • Track system health, equipment reliability, energy performance, maintenance effectiveness, and service execution metrics, using data to improve uptime and reduce repeat failures.
  • Own mechanical safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training related to maintenance execution, refrigerant handling, contractor oversight, and safe work practices.
  • Support incident response, service restoration, capacity changes, maintenance planning, and post-event reviews to strengthen reliability and execution discipline.
  • Partner closely with Facility Managers, Engineering, Reliability, Controls, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure effective handoffs, operational readiness, and maintainability of installed systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures, spare parts readiness, documentation quality, technician capability, and service response standards.
  • Ensure the site is prepared to support 24/7 mission-critical operations through proper staffing, escalation readiness, training, and maintenance planning.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service, critical facilities maintenance, or related uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, semiconductor, or large commercial infrastructure.
  • 1–3+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or field maintenance operations.
  • Strong practical understanding of large-scale cooling systems, HVAC service operations, controls interfaces, redundancy strategies, and energy-performance considerations.
  • Experience managing maintenance execution, vendor performance, technician development, and incident response in operational environments.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, facilities management, or related field preferred; equivalent technical and field leadership experience also valued.

We’re looking for an Integrated Technologies Consultant in Columbia, MO, to join our team. In this role, you will partner with Oracle clients to deploy integrated technology solutions, including hardware, software, and services. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission-critical applications for top tier enterprises around the world. Our cloud offers unmatched hyper-scale, multi-tenant services deployed in more than 50 regions worldwide. OCI is expanding its mission beyond the traditional boundaries of public cloud to include dedicated, hybrid and multi cloud, edge computing, and more.

At Technical Strategy and Oversight (TSO) organization, our mission is to support customer choice, transparency, and value when it comes to cloud infrastructure. We’re embarking on ambitious new initiatives such as building new innovative platforms, high performance primitives, frameworks to support OCI developers, and new container runtime that will allow us to run the full variety of OCI services, including our most demanding, high-performance, high-availability services.  We’re also working on new ingenuities such as providing canonical implementation of core components for data planes through a data-plane runtime framework, developing a remote persistent storage solution with the latency and performance comparable to that of a local nVME drive, and developing standards and tools to identify critical performance improvements across OCI data-planes. We are hoping to enhance engineering efficiency by concentrating our expertise on building low level systems with high performance that can be adopted by our core cloud services across OCI.

As Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) continues its rapid expansion, we are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our newly established Cloud Performance Organization. This team plays a key role in addressing service inefficiencies, reducing cloud expenses, improving customer experience, and ensuring scalability. Your work will focus on optimizing the performance of OCI’s critical components, internal tools, and applications while fostering a culture of performance engineering.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
•    Design and implement backend services and APIs used by Oracle Health product teams.

Minimum Qualifications
•    BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•    3+ years of professional software development experience.
•    Proficiency in one or more languages (e.g., Java, C#, Go, Python) and experience building REST and/or gRPC services.
•    Working knowledge of data stores (RDBMS and/or NoSQL) and distributed systems fundamentals.
•    Experience with modern engineering practices: source control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts: authentication, authorization, RBAC/ABAC, least privilege.
•    Exposure to user provisioning services and lifecycle management (create/update/disable, entitlements, audit trails).
•    Familiarity with SSO patterns and standards such as OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, SCIM (helpful but not required).
•    Cloud experience preferred (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP), including cloud-native development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain critical facility systems across electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities, incident investigations, and root cause analysis for equipment or system issues.
  • Support maintenance planning, upgrades, retrofits, and expansions, including participation in commissioning activities and operational acceptance processes.
  • Partner with site operations teams to improve maintainability, safe execution of work, and documentation quality, including procedures, one-lines, drawings, logs, settings, and test plans.

  • Experience with mission-critical, industrial, utility, manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial facility systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, one-lines, and equipment documentation.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, cooling, or controls systems in high-availability environments.
  • Technical certification, trade experience, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

Physical Demands / Work Environment
 This is a mission-critical role supporting 24/7 operations where 100% uptime is essential; as such, regular attendance and flexibility for shift-based schedules are required. To perform these duties, you must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push/pull objects, and climb stairs. You will be required to lift or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for loads 40 pounds or greater. Additionally, you must be capable of maintaining balance while working from a ladder or elevated platforms. These tasks are performed in an industrial environment and must be executed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, to maintain the continuous health of the facility infrastructure.

Job Description

As Facilities Operations Manager – Mechanical, you will lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mission-critical mechanical systems supporting OCI data centers. Reporting to the Site Operations Director, this role owns mechanical plant operations, maintenance execution, vendor performance, operational readiness, and technician leadership across cooling and HVAC infrastructure.

You will oversee the operation and maintenance of systems such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, fan walls, and associated controls, ensuring uptime is protected and work is executed safely, consistently, and to Oracle standards. This role is focused on day-to-day plant operations and service execution rather than long-range design authority.

Responsibilities

THIS ROLE IS ON-SITE IN SCHAKELFORT, TEXAS (NO EXCEPTION). RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations, maintenance, and service execution for critical mechanical and HVAC infrastructure.
  • Own mechanical plant readiness, including preventive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, restoration activities, and maintenance backlog management.
  • Serve as the primary site point of contact and technical lead for mechanical systems, including incident escalation and operational decision support.
  • Manage Facilities Technicians, contractors, and service vendors, ensuring strong safety performance, quality of work, documentation rigor, and SLA adherence.
  • Drive troubleshooting and response for mechanical failures, abnormal conditions, and performance degradation impacting uptime or operational stability.
  • Track and improve KPIs such as equipment availability, backlog health, MTTR, repeat failures, maintenance completion, and corrective action closure.
  • Partner with engineering, commissioning, deployment, reliability, and controls teams on retrofits, upgrades, system turnover, and operational acceptance.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis for major or recurring issues and ensure corrective actions are fully implemented, verified, and sustained.
  • Maintain audit-ready records including procedures, service reports, maintenance history, turnover documentation, and CMMS data.
  • Champion safe work practices, environmental compliance, and disciplined process execution across all mechanical operations.
  • Coach and develop technicians and frontline leads to strengthen troubleshooting capability, technical depth, and execution consistency.
  • Support the Site Operations Director with status reporting, risk visibility, staffing readiness, and operational improvement initiatives for the mechanical plant.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in mechanical plant operations, HVAC service, critical cooling maintenance, or related uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, semiconductor, or large commercial facilities.
  • 2–4+ years of experience leading technicians, maintenance teams, or service providers in a live operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, CRAHs, AHUs, CDUs, and related controls platforms.
  • Experience managing vendors, maintenance programs, incident response, and service execution in 24x7 operations.
  • Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, DCIM, and CMMS tools.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, or operational acceptance of new or upgraded mechanical systems is preferred.

  • Clear communicator able to translate plant conditions, risks, and actions for varied stakeholders.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

  • Experience with mission-critical cooling infrastructure and redundancy strategies in high-availability environments.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance, trend analysis, controls integration, and operational performance monitoring.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification preferred where refrigerant-handling responsibilities apply.
  • HVAC trade license, mechanical certification, or equivalent technical qualification where applicable.
  • OEM or manufacturer training on chillers, cooling systems, pumps, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC systems, or related controls platforms preferred.
  • OSHA 30 preferred.

Physical Demands / Work Environment
 This is a mission-critical onsite role supporting 24/7 operations where continuous uptime is essential; as such, regular attendance, schedule flexibility, and response readiness are required. To perform these duties, you must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push/pull objects, and climb stairs. You may be required to lift or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for loads 40 pounds or greater. You must also be capable of maintaining balance while working from ladders or elevated platforms. These tasks are performed in an industrial environment and must be executed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, to maintain the continuous health of facility infrastructure.
