Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer – Manufacturing Systems and Integrated Technologies
What you will do

In this vital role, you will be a part of our Clinical and Commercial Manufacturing Operations Technology team, driving the operation, refinement, and integration of cutting-edge manufacturing applications. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of Amgen’s key manufacturing systems, working with various MCS (Manufacturing and Clinical Supply) business partners to ensure products to patients by managing and supporting key computerized systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System), Clinical Label Printing and Packaging, PI Data Historian, Instrument Data Acquisition (IDA) and other integrated systems.
As a member of our team, you'll be the driving force behind our mission to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively. This role will be responsible for managing the MES platform and associated integrations for the ATO site. In addition to supporting key manufacturing operations, you will work closely with the Global Instrument Data Acquisition (IDA) team to drive a Global MES Standardization effort across all Amgen manufacturing locations. This includes ensuring seamless integration of instrument data, implementing standardized MES processes and protocols, and collaborating with global stakeholders to align best practices and compliance requirements. Your efforts will be critical in optimizing manufacturing systems, enhancing data integrity, and promoting consistency and efficiency across Amgen’s worldwide network.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, site business leads and plant leads that include Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, MCS Engineering, Enterprise Architects, and MES/IDA Global Teams to ensure seamless implementation and optimization of MES, PI Historian Systems, and support partnering with MCS automation/engineering teams for GLAM project support.
The role will be part of the Site Operations Technology team which is responsible for delivering systems in support of Clinical and Commercial Manufacturing, working in a client facing ATO site- focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Support key TCT manufacturing systems by driving operational stability and continuous improvements across Building 7, B20, B23, and the ATO site.
- Manage key system integrations, both existing and new, to streamline manufacturing operations.
- Champion business process improvements and support strategic digital initiatives by leveraging established platforms, city plan technology, and artificial intelligence applications.
- Provide on-call support, including after-hours escalations and troubleshooting for operations technology application issues, aligned with 24x7 manufacturing requirements at the ATO site.
- Lead major incident and problem investigations, including root cause analysis, deviation investigations, corrective actions, and 5-why analysis.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining and updating inspection readiness for critical applications, including inspection playbooks, periodic assessments for data integrity, security, and system compliance, and SDLC validation and testing.
- Support regulatory inspections by providing data, delivering presentations on site systems and technology processes, and collaborating with subject matter experts as needed.
- Lead initiatives to introduce Industry 4.0 technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency and capacity.
- Lead and train team members to support operational excellence and develop multi-system competencies.
- Support and lead CMDB updates and system health, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration data in partnership with service owners and managers.
- Support the assessment of impactful changes during weekly ATO Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Support Amgen’s cyber resiliency efforts, including Sentinels and ECR Network initiatives.
- Provide on-site, client-facing support at the ATO site up to five days per week, based on business needs.

Specialist Scientific IS Business Analyst

In this vital role, you will work closely with Amgen Research partners and Technology peers to ensure that the technology/data needs for drug discovery research are translated into technical requirements for solution implementation. What you will do
We are seeking a Principal Data Scientist - Forecasting to join the Forecasting team, within the AI & Data organization. This role will lead the development of advanced statistical, Bayesian, causal, and machine learning models that improve forecasting capabilities and quantify uncertainty to guide strategic decision making across the company.

- Develop high fidelity simulation and scenario evaluation capabilities to understand the complex dynamics between patients, payers and providers.

This is the one of the most senior technical positions in a ~100+ person development organization focused on Prescription Dispensing. The incumbent will be a seasoned technologist AND have the executive skills to lead others, communicate with exceptional clarity, and develop culture. While the role has no direct staff, it is a member of the leadership team.
The incumbent will execute on the activities below:
Architect (40 % of Time):
Establish and ensure adherence to technical direction, standards, guidelines, and methodology for use of specified technologies in the department. Then lead the Technical Advisory council that performs application architectural reviews on department initiatives. Partner with teams and serve as subject matter expert to provide benchmarked solutions to multiple, complex technical projects/initiatives within own area of expertise and organize cross-departmental application architectural solutions. Influence the technical standards and tool selection for the entire the company. Collaborate with Pharmacy Tower Architecture and Enterprise Architecture for integrated infrastructure designs. Vendor technology evaluation and influence. Work with external development firms to evaluate the strength of their platforms as candidates for selection to be added to CVS' environment. Visionary & Strategist (10% of Time):

Technical Program Leader (40% of Time):
Act as the most senior technical contributor on strategic initiatives. During some periods leading (e.g. defining sensible sets of functionality to be grouped into projects of a multi-year program) and other times supporting (e.g. providing application architectural designs with the Technical Lead on the project). Engaged in a multi-million dollar, multi-year dispensing pharmacy system creation. Be deeply personally engaged in the success of this program.
Process Development and Adoption (5% of Time):
Identifies necessary process changes for the department and methodically implements them. Leads the department's DevSecOps maturity journey. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of experience in threat intelligence research, including advanced collection and analysis methodologies, threat actor profiling, and MITRE ATT&CK techniques.

7+ years of experience in SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools, both open source and commercial.

6+ years of experience in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Go) for automating threat intelligence workflows and building research tools.

5+ years of experience architecting and coding threat intelligence platforms and research environments.

5+ years of experience in engineering solutions for large-scale data analysis, including security logs, product telemetry, and open-source intelligence.

3+ years of experience in producing and presenting high-impact threat research reports and technical briefings to diverse audiences.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Enterprise Observability Strategy and Governance Manager is responsible for the execution and delivery of Observability products that support the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of Observability platforms. We are seeking a highly driven and delivery-focused Manager to lead the implementation of observability initiatives across infrastructure, application, and service domains. This role translates established observability strategy, requirements, standards, and priorities into actionable product roadmaps and initiatives, working closely with engineering, IT operations, and service management teams to drive adoption and measurable outcomes. The Manager focuses on day-to-day product leadership, governance execution, and continuous improvement of observability capabilities while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, financial targets, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in product management, observability tooling, and enterprise IT governance, with a passion for enabling data-driven operations and service excellence.
What we expect of you –
- Enterprise Observability Program Execution:
Lead the planning, tracking, reporting, and delivery of observability products across infrastructure, application, and service domains, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to established Observability and business strategies. - Roadmap Execution & Delivery Planning:
Translate approved Observability strategies and multi-year roadmaps into executable plans, managing milestones, dependencies, and delivery risks to support platform evolution and service maturity goals. - Cross-Functional Delivery Partnership:
Partner closely with Observability engineering, operations, service management, and business teams to coordinate delivery activities, resolve execution issues, and drive consistent adoption of Observability capabilities. - Governance & Standards Implementation:
Implement and enforce established Observability standards, instrumentation practices, and platform usage policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, vulnerability management and internal governance frameworks. - Financial Management & Cost Control:
Manage assigned Observability budgets, track platform consumption and spend, and support cost optimization and recovery initiatives in alignment with defined financial targets. - Risk & Compliance Execution:
Identify, manage, and escalate risks related to Observability platforms, including data integrity, security, and operational continuity, and support compliance reporting and remediation activities. - Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor platform performance and operational OKRs/KPIs, analyze trends, and report on delivery progress, adoption, and business value to stakeholders and leadership. - Change Enablement & Adoption:
Execute change management and adoption plans, including training, documentation, and communications, to support effective rollout and sustained use of Observability tools and practices. - Operational Continuous Improvement:
Stay current on observability, telemetry, and AIOps trends, identifying incremental improvements and optimization opportunities to enhance platform effectiveness and operational efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in program, product, or project management supporting IT infrastructure, observability, or enterprise technology platforms
- 2+ years of experience using Atlassian Jira to manage governed product or program backlogs, including intake tracking, demand evaluation, prioritization, workflow management, epic/feature/story development, and delivery status reporting within Agile environments
- 2+ years of experience translating governance standards, policies, and requirements into actionable product requirements, and developing decision‑support artifacts such as options analysis and impact assessments to enable leadership decision‑making
- 2+ years of experience applying observability concepts (metrics, logs, and traces), platform architecture, and service instrumentation, with working knowledge of observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
- 2+ years of experience working with ITSM/ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow, including CMDB integration and dashboard/reporting capabilities
- 2+ years of experience managing budgets, tracking spend, and supporting financial governance and cost‑optimization initiatives for technology services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), SAFe or other Agile delivery certifications, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent product management credentials
