Essential Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise in systems security engineering, particularly for edge devices and embedded platforms.

Additional Information for US candidates:
The base pay range for this position is $112,000-$150,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. - Serves as a technical specialist and has knowledge and skill set to provide consultation and guidance to product, material application, and design teams for area of responsibility
- Synthesizes and clearly communicate results of research and development activities related to thermal processing and applications; prepares and presents technical data to internal and external customers
- May provide support to business development activities
Process Development:
- Prioritizes and completes process engineering projects to achieve business objectives for technology and manufacturing process maturation and process risk reduction (D/PFMEA)
- Develops subject-matter expertise on process mechanisms and applies that learning to solve problems and develop/protect intellectual property (IP)
Product Application:
- Practices applied creativity to develop thermal processes that meet customer and product requirements

Qualifications/requirements:

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer is responsible for understanding current technology trends and state of the art processor, System On Chip, and FPGA components. The role influences avionics hardware architectures and supports new bid/proposals.
In this role you will be conducting and mentoring experienced design engineers in board level circuit design, integration, verification and documentation of leading-edge aerospace processor and/or FPGA assemblies.
This is both a leadership and hands on role! You will be expected to be able to contribute at all levels of the design cycle. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to complex issues, and resolve through immediate action or short-term planning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architecting moderately complex avionic computer hardware systems that include both digital and analog components.
- Maintain specialized knowledge in semiconductor processors, System-on-Chip, and FPGA component architectures.
